The NSDAR Genealogy Department has created and maintains six Genealogical Education Programs (GEP 1 -5, and 8). 

These courses are available to all DAR members and to members of the public.

In addition to the Genealogical Education Program, the NSDAR Genealogy Department provides a Registrar Training Course (GEP 6) and Mid-Level Review Training Program (GEP 7).
