Each time a member completes a course within our Genealogical Educational Program’s (GEP), it has long term positive effects for your chapter by revitalizing and encourages growth. The valuable education received provides the necessary tools for preparing applications, writing an analysis, using the electronic version of eApp or becoming a mid-level reviewer to aid in the verification process.
The NSDAR Genealogy Department has created and maintains seven Genealogical Education Programs (GEP 1-7). They provide the most complete and up-to-date information on the proper completion and documentation standards required for the verification of applications. The courses are available to all DAR members. The member is responsible for the cost of each course.
